Here's some of what I CAN do:
* Website setup and maintenance (I designed and built this site, RossTaylor.biz)Here's some things I DON'T do:
* Computer set-up (make connections, get it running)
* Install new hardware or software
* Hard Disk Maintenance: defragmentation of hard drive, directory re-organization, unwanted file removal, recovery of lost sectors, etc.
* Help with backing up files
* Get your Internet connection up and working
* Help with common software programs
* Tutorial for the following: Windows Xp, Windows 95/98, WordPerfect, America Online, McAfee Virus Scan, Family Tree Maker, most older DOS-based programs
* Get your printer, scanner, monitor, mouse, jump drive, mass storage, etc. to work, (as long as it's not an internal electrical problem)
* Install memory chips in laptops
* install memory chips in desktops
* replace malfunctioning parts inside your computer
* repair your peripherals if the problem is internal
* recover your computer from the "blue screen of death"
I charge $30/hour from the time I arrive at your home or business, and I don't waste time. (For locations in San Antonio more than 10 miles from my home I may need to charge .40 cents/mile extra to cover my transportation costs.)
