My Qualifications:
Growing up I always went with my father to make repairs on the half-dozen rent houses we owned. My dad was a mechanical engineer, a journeyman plumber, and an air conditioning and heating technician. He taught me much of what he knew. When he passed away in 1989, I took over the repair work for Mom on our multiple rent houses. And of course I've always done my own home repairs -- for over 20 years.
